What is a Branch 23 investment?
With Branch 23 you invest through a life insurance policy. After costs and taxes, your premiums are invested in funds. The return depends on how those funds perform; there is no guaranteed capital. You can optionally add death cover.
Which funds suit you depends on your investor profile, which we determine together. You also designate the beneficiaries yourself, which makes the contract attractive for your financial planning and the transfer of your wealth.
Branch 21: security first
With Branch 21 you receive a guaranteed interest rate, possibly supplemented by a profit share. Less potential return, but your capital is protected. Many investors combine the two.
Diversification is key
- Spread your money across different funds and fund managers.
- Opt for regular deposits, so you do not invest everything at one moment.
- Use the financial options available with a single premium, such as phased entry.
- Only choose funds from renowned managers.
Branch 23 investment insurance is not protected by the Belgian Protection Fund for deposits and financial instruments. A private individual pays a 2 per cent tax on the premiums; no withholding tax is due on the return. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
